This policy explains what information Anubhav AI ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. Anubhav AI is an Android app that lets a business owner generate a QR code for customers to scan; scanning it opens a web page where the customer rates their experience and answers a couple of quick questions, which we use to draft a review they can post to Google.
This policy applies to two groups of people:
Account information (business owners only). When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from Google, used to link your business profile to your account so you can recover it on a new device.
Business information you provide. Your business name, category, the Google review link you enter, the questions you choose to ask customers, an optional logo image (up to 100 KB), and an optional custom link name for your review page.
Customer review submissions. When a customer uses the review page, we collect the star rating they select and their free-text answers to your questions, which are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to draft a review, and stored (along with the drafted review text) so you can see it in the app's Reviews tab. Customers are not asked for their name, email, or any other identifying information by us, though anything they voluntarily type into a free-text answer is stored as given.
Reply helper (business owners only). If you use the reply helper, the text and star rating of a review you choose from the reviews collected through your QR code, and the optional note you write, are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to draft a reply for you. The reply request does not store or log this text: it is used for that one request and then discarded (the reviews themselves are stored separately, as described above). We keep only daily counts of how many replies you have drafted and how many reviews have been generated for your business, so that the service can't be overused.
Subscription information. If you subscribe, Google Play Billing handles the purchase and payment directly — we never see or store your payment card details. We do receive confirmation from Google Play that a subscription is active, and its expiry date, so the app can unlock accordingly.
We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell any information to third parties.
The App relies on the following third-party services to function. Each processes certain data as described above, under their own privacy policies:
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, to the extent needed for them to provide their service to us, and if required by law (for example, in response to a valid legal request).
Your business profile (including your logo and custom link name) is kept for as long as your account exists. Reviews collected through your QR code are deleted automatically 1 year after they are collected. Review text sent to draft a reply is not stored by the reply request. You can delete your business profile and every review at any time from Settings in the app, or by contacting us (see Contact Us below).
Data is stored using Google Firebase's infrastructure, with access to a business's own data restricted to that business's signed-in account. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps consistent with industry practice to protect the information described in this policy.
Anubhav AI is intended for business owners and their adult customers, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Business owners can edit their business information, or delete their business and all of its reviews ("Delete all data" in Settings), from within the app. You can also request deletion by contacting us using the details below.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
